When you open yourself up to accepting others you will open your mind to a whole new world you wouldn't see unless you begin to see it through another's eye. You meet people who have gone through way more hardships than yourself. You feel pain you haven't experienced on a personal level before. You begin to fight for things you haven't experienced but since you have developed a bond with someone who has, you fight their fight with them. A fight against society, people, or a fight against freedom, justice, and liberty. Still lost? Well let me open this up to new realizations:
- Why is it that prostitutes are the ones being looked down upon by our society? Why are they the ones who are getting in trouble? We haven't looked at the deeper issue of WHY they choose to do this. Are they are single mother not getting child support by the father? Are they psychologically brainwashed by their pimp who never is brought to justice? Have they been threatened, beaten, and torn? We do not try and find these women help, we just throw them in the slammer and continue to not question anything else.
- Same-sex Marriage....a topic I am very passionate about. I once did a report on same-sex marriage to try and get at the root of why people choose to not want it, and fight to make it illegal.
Religion and traditional values were the roots of the problem. But honestly what is "traditional values" anymore? We didn't create them. If we were brought into a world where traditional meant women fell in love with women and men with men, we wouldn't know the difference. What if being "gay" meant a man and women fell in love? Love isn't something we made up, it's the one natural emotion we feel and can't help it. So if you were gay because you were a man and loved a woman, wouldn't you want to keep loving her? Why would you want to live in fear? Fear of being ridiculed, not accepted, and not approved by our government? Maybe people grow so much hate for same-sex couples because it's "wrong" by our government. And who are they to say who to love? This again is the one thing that is natural, that we are capable of loving whoever and whenever. That liberty should not be taken away. Our natural habitat has been ripped from us all the time, trees are knocked down and buisnesses are built, televisions are on as nature is blossoming without us caring. Love is the one thing that we should always have the freedom for. If you are not homosexual there is no way you would ever understand how it is, if you knew someone this would change your outlook. Religion is another factor. I should not get into depth about this but who created religion? And if your religion told you to fall in love with the same-sex would you force yourself to do it? The church also says abortion is illegal and makes women feel terrible after they have been through quite enough anyway. Religions' bottom line is to love isn't it? So being a support system for a women who just had a abortion is more necessary and more following religious ideals then trashing that women and making her feel awful. She is more in control, she is more connected with emotions and feelings then the embryo inside of her. We need to support, we need to love, and we need to listen to our hearts....it's the only thing we truly have.

Wow that prostitution video is crazy! It's a problem that people don't seem to think about because we rarely actually see it.
